We have a themed based curriculum. As part of this children are taught all national curriculum objectives, Colebourne objectives from progression grids, activities that support/ promote the school aims, vision and values, additional life/ work skills, meta-cognition strategies (learning to learn), STEM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) and some of the –50 things your child will do while at Colebourne. There will be opportunities built in for parents to be involved and opportunities for special experiences and visits for the children.  The units below are the units from September 2014.

Click on the theme title to see more information about the theme, along with some resources. (Only titles in green currently have additional information.)

You can also view the Theme Curriculum Overview sheets for each year group for each theme to find out what the children will be learning.
