Who and What are Mediators?
Our Year 5 children at Gilbertstone are trained to be Peer Mediators. They support children with friendship issues outdoors at lunchtimes.
What skills do they need?
They need to be good listeners, have a good memory, and also be able to follow the mediator promises.
How will you know who they are?
The Mediator's photographs are displayed in the Mediator corner along with their profiles and rota. When they are on duty they will be wearing their blue bibs so they are easily identified.

We won't tell you off.
We will listen to both sides.
We will help you make a decision.
We won't gossip.
