Year’s 4, 5 and 6 Cross Country
On Monday 28th September, nine pupils went to Kingsbury School for a cross country competition against eleven schools in the partnership. They all ran two laps around a giant field and through the woods. They all did great and they should be proud of what they achieved. The girls came 6th and the boys came 9th.
Colebourne vs Yardley
On Thursday 1st October 2015 we faced Yardley in our first league match of the season. Every-one was full of hope and were willing to play for victory but unfortunately the game took a turn for the worst and we sadly lost 4-1 but were gracious in defeat. We even received an email from the league secretary complimenting us on our fantastic attitude.
Year 3 and 4 Football Competition
On Monday 5th October, eight children from year 3 and 4 went to Kingsbury School for a football competition. They had to play four matches and out of the four they won every match. They competed against lots of schools who were equally as good. It was tough but they made it to the finals. They had to play an extra two matches in the finals and we came third, winning bronze medals. They had lots of fun along the way and we really enjoyed it!
