Parent Notice

Dear Mums and Dads,

Today we have been notified of 2 positive Covid-19 cases at Beaufort school.  There is no mixing between Colebourne and Beaufort staff or pupils and therefore, there is minimal risk to Colebourne children and staffThe persons affected do not share rooms with any of our children.

Beaufort school continues to be open while the staff and pupils from the affected bubbles are self-isolating.

Although this may cause you some concern, please be rest assured that we continue to have rigorous procedures in place to minimise the risk of transmission between anyone in school. This week we have further reviewed our risk assessment and have implemented additional enhanced measures to reduce any transmission.  Further details will be provided in the Friday update.

At this moment in time, we still have no positive cases amongst our children and staff at Colebourne. However, we have developed a detailed action plan should a child or member of staff test positive.

We all need to continue to work together to keep everybody safe; wear a mask, maintain social distancing and wash or sanitize your hands regularly.

If you have any concerns or questions, please get in touch with me.

Kind regards,

Mr. Guest

Headteacher
