It has been another busy week at Colebourne with children continuing to work hard across the subjects.
In assembly this week we continued with our theme on ‘Dreams and Goals’ and I asked the children to discuss or write down their goal. We looked at Greta Thunberg and how her goal to make her government take action on Climate change started with ‘one step’, which for her was a protest outside of the Swedish parliament building. I challenged the children to take their ‘one step’ towards their goal. Why not ask your child what their goal is!
Also in this week’s update, we are excited to share news about our KS2 swimming programme, and we have had the first meeting of our Parent Involvement Panel.
Also, our junior PCSOs have started their work again meeting with our local police team.
As cases of covid are still very high in Hodge Hill and in school we are asking that you continue to test your child regularly and at least on Sunday evening or Monday morning before coming to school.
