SPORTS PREMIUM 2020-2021<\/h4>[vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]During the academic year 2020-2021 316 pupils were eligible for sports premium funding. The total amount payable to school was \u00a319,210. The money was spent on:<\/p>\n
    \n
  • Providing equipment for team sports\/physical activity that could be used in the reduced play areas.<\/li>\n
  • Additional PE kit for those families who could not afford it.<\/li>\n
  • Upgrade of gym equipment and outdoor sports facilities to meet the requirement of the PE curriculum.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    SPORTS PREMIUM 2019-2020<\/h4>[vc_column_text]During this academic year, 324 pupils were eligible for sports premium funding. The total amount payable to school\u00a0was \u00a319,460. Over the year the money was spent on:<\/p>\n
      \n
    • Embedding physical activity into the school day through large climbing apparatus on the playground.<\/li>\n
    • Engaging all pupils in regular physical activity.<\/li>\n
    • Giving pupils the opportunity to take part in sporting activities that they would otherwise be unable to experience.<\/li>\n
    • Ensuring sporting activities are delivered by a qualified and experienced professional sports coach who is able to develop pupil\u2019s skills.<\/li>\n
    • Ensuring pupils\u00a0have opportunity to take part in sporting competitions with pupils from other settings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      SPORTS PREMIUM 2018-2019<\/h4>[vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]During the academic year 2018 – 2019, 345 pupils were eligible for sports premium funding. The total amount payable to school\u00a0was \u00a319,450. Over the year the money was spent on:<\/p>\n
        \n
      • Providing pupils with high quality teaching from a specialist PE coach.<\/li>\n
      • Providing pupils with\u00a0the opportunity to take part in sporting activities that they would otherwise be unable to experience.<\/li>\n
      • Providing pupils with the opportunity to take part in sporting competitions with pupils from other settings.<\/li>\n
      • Providing pupils with the opportunity to take on leadership or volunteer roles that support sport & physical activity within school.<\/li>\n
      • Training lunch time supervisors to lead physical activities at lunchtimes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
