Today is the National offer day for places for Reception classes for September 2020.

You should have already received an email stating which school you have been offered.

If you have been offered Colebourne as the school for your child and you would like this place you don’t need to do anything more as we have your details from the local authority and will be in touch with you in May 2020.

Due to the current coronavirus outbreak and the impact on Birmingham schools, you will only need to contact the Local Authority by 30 April 2020 if you are refusing your first choice place. You can do this by email, details of the email address will be included on your offer letter. If you do not contact the local authority to refuse the offer, we will update our records to show the offer has been accepted.

If you do have any questions regarding offers please feel free to email me: s.guest@colebourne.bham.sch.uk

If you have also applied for a Nursery place and now have a child starting Reception (who will be you only child at Colebourne in September), you now get sibling status for the Nursery admission – which will move you up the priority list (but doesn’t guarantee a place in Nursery). You must update your nursery application be emailing Mr. Guest with details of your prospective nursery child and the name of your child due to start Reception.

The closing date for any changes to Nursery admissions information is 30th April. For more information about Nursery admissions, please visit the Admission section on this website.

Best wishes and if you have got a reception place for your chid, we very much look forward to working with your child and you as a family over the coming months and years.

Warmest best wishes and stay safe.

Mr. Guest
