Your challenge is to build a house for the three little pigs to keep them safe from the wolf. You will need to make sure that the wolf cannot blow the roof off your house. You will need to try and use different materials to attach the roof to the building, such as glue sticks, PVA glue, sellotape and card flaps.
Try making models and using different ways of attaching the roof and then testing to make sure that the ‘wolf’ (a hairdryer) cannot blow the roof off. Then you need to decide which method you thought was best.
Think about which method held the roof on best and which was easiest to use.
You should present your work on a board like this.
Please bring your models and notes to school by 21st September 2016 for testing and judging.
There will be prizes awarded for the best model from each KS1 year group.
