Dear all,
Welcome back to the children who have been on residentials this week and we are so pleased that you had such a great time. A few photos of the Malvern trip are included in the main update.
A massive thank you to all the staff involved, who have given up their time to go away with the children. Also a big shout out to Miss Connolly who made all the arrangements for both of the trips.
We have also come to the end of our onsite swimming provision. The children’s reaction every time they come out of the pool has been amazing – they are so happy, excited and pleased with themselves. We have seen such great progress in the children’s swimming abilities and we would encourage all families to continue this either through lessons at Stechford Leisure Centre or just going swimming for fun. A big thanks to Miss Walker and Mrs Taylor for all the work arranging this swimming, to all the staff for adapting their provision, and to the support staff for ‘ferrying’ the children to and from the sessions.
We have also had parents evening last week and I hope this provided a good chance to catch up with the teachers.
