Dear all,
Lots of super work happening around school this week. The children are all getting stuck into their new geography themes – ask your child what they are learning about. You can see an overview of the Geography units later on in the newsletter.
Children have also started their computer units and I was particularly interested in the ‘screen free mealtime’ that year 3 had been discussing – showing how important it is to put down devices and talk to each other without distractions.
This week also sees our consultation for relationship and health education end and details of the next steps can be seen later.
Yesterday I enjoyed speaking with school council as they fed back to me their class ideas for what they wanted for Christmas activities in school, once again I was very impressed with their work and ideas.
Today we say goodbye to Miss Barrett as she moves on to other adventures; we thank her for her work in year 4, breakfast club and her mentoring work.
We are well underway with our Christmas fair plans, and we hope you will be able to attend. To help with this we are asking for a few donations – please see later.
