Last Tuesday 3N had a fantastic afternoon creating Stone Age Cave paintings. First of all they had to make some realistic Stone Age paint using charcoal and oil. They needed to crush the charcoal into a fine powder and then mix in some cooking oil.

As, during the Stone Age, paintbrushes had not been invented, 3N decided to use their fingers to create their masterpieces.

To make the experience even more realistic they attached paper to the underside of their table and lay on their backs, to recreate painting on the roof of the cave! It really was like being back in the Stone Age!
